TP Vision announces the presence of the Philips OLED807 TV. This TV is the first from Philips to use an EX OLED display panel.

Features of Philips OLED807

The OLED EX panel is the latest display panel technology from the manufacturer LG Display which was announced at CES 2022 last. This panel uses a deuterium compound combined with an algorithm to improve the stability and efficiency of the LED lamp as a light source. As a result, OLED EX is able to offer a higher brightness level of up to 30 percent when compared to standard OLED display panels.

The OLED EX panel on the Philips OLED807 is supported by the 6th P5 AI chipset. Thanks to this chipset, Philips OLED807 is claimed to be able to present HDR images with the best quality compared to other Philips OLED TVs. Philips OLED807 supports Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10, HDR10+, and HDR10+ Adaptive. This TV has also won the IMAX Enhanced certification.

This TV is also very optimal for gaming. Equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, the Philips OLED807 supports eARC and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) features from 40 Hz to 120 Hz and full bandwidth at 48Gbps. So, it will be optimal for next generation consoles such as Playstation 5 and Xbox One Series X/S. The gaming features are even more complete with support for Freesync Premium and G-Sync. Various game modes are also available such as Auto Game and Auto Latency mode to ensure gamers get the right settings while gaming.

The Philips OLED807 will be available with three screen sizes, namely 48 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches and 77 inches. The audio sector relies on 70W integrated speakers with a 2.1 configuration and supports DTS Play-Fi.

Philips OLED807 price

Although it has been announced that there is no further information on the price and availability of the Philips OLED807 later in the market.
