According to ProGrade, the presence of this memory card is expected to reach more users who need a high-speed memory card.
Previously, the ProGrade CFExpress Type-B Cobalt was available in two capacity options. Among them 325 GB and 650 GB. These two memory cards are indeed sold at a price that is not cheap. A capacity of 325 GB costs US $ 449.99 or around 6.6 million Rupiah. Meanwhile, the 650 GB capacity costs US$ 769.99 or around 11 million Rupiah.
So, by shrinking its capacity to 165 GB ProGrade can sell CFExpress Type-B Cobalt memory cards at a lower price. Even though the memory card has the smallest capacity, it can still be relied on. Especially for photographers who focus on shooting non-stop at high speed and rarely shoot videos.
Like the 325GB and 650GB capacities, this memory card carries an NVMe interface with PCIe Gen3 X2. Performance remains strong. The maximum read speed can be up to 1700 MB/s and the write speed is around 1500 MB/s.
