Razer Basilisk V3 Pro: Count on 3rd Generation Optical Switches and 13 Underglow Zones

Razer announced the presence of its newest gaming mouse, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro. This device carries a variety of interesting features ranging from HyperScroll, the new generation Optical Switch, to 13 Underglow Zones.

Features Razer Basilisk V3 Pro

The Basilisk V3 Pro is a mouse with 10+1 programmable buttons, and is supported by the Razer Focus Pro 30K optical sensor. Accuracy is claimed to reach 99.8 percent. The Razer Focus Pro 30K is a sensor with AI functions such as Smart Tracking, Motion Sync and Asymmetric Cut-Off.

According to Razer, the Smart Tracking feature automatically calibrates multiple layers so they can maintain a consistent lift distance. Gamers are promised better control and accuracy, even on glass surfaces.

While the Generation 3 Optical Mouse Switch is believed to be able to reduce the double-click problem close to zero. Razer also claims that this switch has no delay, has a tactile sensation, and has been tested for up to 90 million clicks or 25 percent more robust than the previous generation.

No less interesting, the Basilisk V3 Pro features 13 Chroma light zones with underglow around them. Gamers can customize each zone with more than 16.8 million colors and various light effects. More than 200 games have been integrated with this feature.

The Basilisk V3 Pro also has HyperScroll, Razer ‘s award-winning scroll wheel. Gamers can check content quickly with free spins, or switch to tactile mode for precise results and are ideal for changing weapons or skills.

Regarding wireless connectivity, Razer relies on HyperSpeed ​​Wireless and Bluetooth technology. The mouse is also compatible with Razer’s newly released HyperPolling 4K Hz wireless dongle for control at 4000Hz polling rates.

For those who are interested, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is available on Razer.com, RazerStores, and official distributors on August 23, 2022 for USD $181.
