World’s First Beamforming Soundbar with AI Head Tracking Technology
Razer introduced a soundbar with 3D Audio capabilities with the Leviathan V2 Pro at CES 2023. It’s the world’s first beamforming soundbar for desktops with AI head-tracking technology.
Features of the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro
This soundbar was co-developed with manufacturers Pioneer, THX and Audioscenic which are specialists in 3D Audio beamforming technology.
In contrast to soundbars in general, soundbars with surround beamforming technology are more sophisticated. The reason is, this technology is supported by AI head-tracking technology.
To provide a more immersive surround audio experience, the Leviathan V2 Pro is embedded with an IR camera. With the help of AI Head tracking this camera will be tasked with tracking the user’s position.
The combination of the two allows the soundbar to produce sound according to the user’s position in real-time . In this way, users can be sure to experience the best audio in any position.
Thanks to the THX Spatial Audio feature, sound settings can also be adjusted according to user needs. There are two THX modes available, namely the THX Spatial Audio Virtual Headset for any stereo audio content. Meanwhile, for multi-channel audio content such as audio experiences in cinemas, you can select the THX Spatial Audio Virtual Speaker mode.
