Razer announced the presence of its newest gaming mouse, which is called the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition. The main attraction of this device is its light weight, even claimed to be the lightest mouse Razer has ever made.
Features of the Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition
In a press release, Friday (3/2), Razer explained that the Viper Mini Signature Edition is a wireless mouse weighing only 49 grams. To be able to concoct a gaming mouse with this light weight, Razer has a special method.
The Viper Mini Signature Edition is made from a high-quality magnesium-alloy material featuring an exoskeleton design. This material is formulated using injection molding techniques which are then machined using a CNC machine.

The exoskeleton shell is designed to be less susceptible to corrosion, after which it is painted and assembled. The use of magnesium-alloy and injection molding techniques allows for significant weight reduction in the mouse, but without sacrificing durability
“We went beyond our traditional design process to look at alternative materials and industrial designs to create an extremely durable magnesium-alloy in the form of the fan-favorite Viper Mini,” said Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer’s PC Gaming Division.
In terms of features, the Viper Mini Signature Edition features the Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3, and HyperPolling Wireless with a 4000 Hz wireless polling rate. Besides being fast, the wireless technology is said to be more stable.
The Viper Mini Signature Edition’s battery lasts up to 60 hours with HyperSpeed Wireless, and is fully charged in under 90 minutes. In the sales package, Razer also provides a 1.8-meter Speedfles Type-C cable, Razer HyperPolling wireless dongle, a set of Gorillas Glass 3 mouse feet, a microfiber cleaning cloth, 2 sets of Razer Mouse Grip Tapes, and 2 alcohol prep pads.
