The mid-range smartphone by Realme has experienced a series of significant improvements over the past year. It’s not just a matter of getting faster performance, Realme is slowly bringing one by one the advanced features of the flagship series to the middle class. For example, in the realm 7 Pro, which recently launched in Indonesia.
As if to surpass the success of its predecessor, Real 7 Pro now comes with a more complete offering. Like what are the advantages? Come on , just take a look at our review!
Realme 7 Pro design
Through the 7 Series realm family, Realm has finally begun to make changes in terms of design. The exterior appearance of the Real 7 Pro looks quite different compared to its older siblings. Even so, the DNA of the design is still the same as that of the cheaper series, namely Real 7 and Real 7i.
The accent line drawn straight across the camera frame looks quite attractive to the eye. Moreover, the texture of the straight line is different from the rest of the back cover. The variant that we review in this article is Mirror Blue. At first glance, the color tends to be dark. But when exposed to light, then the blue nuance looks shiny.
The realm 7 Pro rear camera frame has also undergone a change, which is no longer arranged vertically like in the previous series. Indeed, the exterior dish has not put forward a breakthrough that makes it look unique compared to its competitors. But at least, this design feels fresher in the Realme line of phones.

realme 7 Pro is a smartphone with a medium size. It can’t be called lean, but it’s not too big either. In our hands, the Real 7 Pro is still okay to hold and operate with one hand. This device has a thickness of 8.7mm and weighs 182 grams.
On the front, you will find a 6.4-inch screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. Yes, the bezel is quite thin and Realme has also adopted a screen design with a punch hole to accommodate a selfie camera. That way, the content that is served will appear fuller and wider.

realme 7 Pro has a USB-C port at the bottom which is accompanied by a 3.5mm audio jack port and speaker hole. This phone is equipped with 3 slots, two for nano SIM-cards and one dedicated specifically for microSD. In the sales package, you will also get a softcase.
Screen realme 7 Pro
realme 7 Pro does not offer a 90Hz screen. Instead, users are presented with a screen with a Super AMOLED panel measuring 6.4 inches and Full HD + resolution. Besides having an image quality that spoils the eye, using the Super AMOLED panel also allows Realme to present the in-display fingerprint sensor feature.

As far as our tests, the Real 7 Pro screen is capable of displaying content very well. The image looks sharp and the colors are rich too. Naturally, this screen has a 98 percent NTSC color gamut. In essence, there is no problem chatting, browsing, watching movies, and playing games. The brightness level is also okay when used in the sun.
Losing the 90Hz refresh rate might be unfortunate for some users. But on the one hand, Realme 7 Pro now uses a Super AMOLED panel which in our opinion is an upgrade from Realme 6 Pro which is still IPS LCD. In your opinion, is it better to Super AMOLED 60Hz or IPS 90Hz? Write your opinion in the comments column.
A little discussing audio, Realme 7 Pro is supported by Dual-Stereo Speakers which are capable of producing loud and clear sound. In addition, your ears will also be spoiled by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res technology. An offer that we think is already very tempting in its class.
Realme 7 Pro operating system
realme 7 Pro adopts the realme UI operating system based on Android 10. For those of you who are familiar with Realme smartphones, you could say that the interface is not much different. Yes, it’s still a bit like pure Android. What are the built-in features it carries?
To be sure you will find Dark Mode complete with options to ‘force’ third-party applications like Facebook to also appear in dark mode. There is also OSIE Visual Effect to improve image quality in applications such as TikTok, MX Player, and so on.
You will also find a new feature called Quick Return Bubble. For those who don’t know, Quick Return Bubble is a small bubble-shaped feature that lets you stay connected to situations in the game even when accessing other apps. That way, you won’t be left behind when the battle has started.
Good news for those of you who need NFC, Realme 7 Pro is already equipped with this technology.
Realme 7 Pro camera

Turning to the photography and videography sector, Realme 7 Pro is armed with 4 rear cameras with a 64 megapixel f / 1.8 Sony IMX682 main sensor, which is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, a 2 megapixel macro camera, and a 2 megapixel portrait camera. It’s quite unfortunate that Realm has to get rid of the telephoto camera that was previously a mainstay in Realme 6 Pro. For those who like selfies, there is a 32 megapixel camera on the front.
Interestingly, the rear camera realm 7 Pro comes with Nightscape Pro mode, Ultra Nightscape Video, Tripod Mode, Portrait Mode, AI Color Portrait, Panorama, and is equipped with the most popular night filter series, namely Cyberpunk, Flamingo and Modern Gold.

How are the photos? Like most smartphones in the same price class, the Realme 7 Pro is capable of capturing images well when the light is sufficient. The color contrast does not look excessive, it even tends to be natural. The details in the photos also look better than the previous generation.
For shooting in low light conditions, you can take advantage of the Nightscape Pro mode. The result is that the photos also retain the nuance of the night well. Yes, there is no overexposure increase which sometimes makes night photos appear too bright and less natural.
For videography needs, the rear camera of Realme 7 Pro supports recording up to 4K resolution at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps. Apart from that, you can also make Slow Motion videos at a resolution of 720p 240fps or 1080p at 120fps. There are also supporting features such as Ultra Steady Video, Ultra Steady Max, Ultra Nightscape Video, Bokeh Video, AI Color Portrait Video, and many more.
Real 7 Pro performance
For performance matters, Realme 7 Pro relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. A combination that no longer looks good in its class, but is certainly still able to provide smooth performance for various needs, including gaming.
As far as our tests, the performance of Real 7 Pro is as expected. The use of everyday standards feels nimble and we have never encountered any significant obstacles. For gaming it is also fun. We tried to play several popular titles such as PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9, and Genshin Impact.
For PUBG Mobile, playing in Balance-Ultra graphic settings feels comfortable and stable. It’s rare for us to see a frame rate drop even in busy battle conditions. While Asphalt 9 can run smoothly with stable frame rates. Genshin Impact? Still playable with notes you have to use the lowest graphic setting. Yes, this game is tough.
Realme 7 Pro battery
realme 7 Pro carries a 4,500 mAh capacity battery. But what should be in the spotlight is the ability to charge it. The fast charging technology that puts forward the reality this time is not playing games. Embedding a 65W SuperDart Charge on a mid-range cellphone gives Realme 7 Pro an advantage that its competitor products do not necessarily have.
65W SuperDart Charge on realme 7 Pro can charge up to 13 percent in 3 minutes and 100 percent in 34 minutes. Of course, reality still guarantees security when charging, especially for matters of temperature. This smartphone is also flexible and compatible with several other charging devices such as, 30W Dart Charge, 18W QC Fast Charge and PD Fast Charge.

Conclusion
In our opinion, what is offered by Real 7 Pro deserves to make it into the ranks of the most attractive middle-class smartphones on the Indonesian market today. The presence of 65W SuperDart Charge technology is really a differentiating factor. Features previously only available to you on much more expensive flagship phones.
realme 7 Pro is sold for IDR 4,999,000. In addition to the Mirror Blue variant, there are also Mirror Silver and Horizon Orange color choices.
