    Review OPPO A77s

The OPPO A77s smartphone has captured the hearts of the users who are fascinated by the design and specifications of Reno. By carrying out the OPPO Reno design, the A77s also turns out to have almost the same specifications as Reno.

The most interesting and the first impression is the rear body design. Very similar to OPPO Reno7. Body design with leather texture, plus two main camera circles inside a rectangular greenhouse.

The specifications are pretty much the same, starting from a long-lasting battery capacity with support for SuperVOOC technology, as well as a screen with a resolution of 90Hz. The following is a complete explanation of the OPPO A77s review.

    Design

It is clear that the design of the OPPO A77s is very similar to the premium smartphones of the Reno series, to be precise the OPPO Reno7. Similar to the Reno7 series, complete with a leather textured body. Both of them carry special characteristics on the rear body, both in the colors used, and the materials that are also made special. Being able to replicate the surface of leather, but at the same time, also makes it stronger than normal imitation leather.

Even though the surface of the rear body feels rough like skin, OPPO uses fiberglass material which makes it more scratch resistant and resistant to fingerprints. So that the OPPO A77s design will always look attractive, even without using a case. The corners are also adjusted, so even if you use flat edges, it’s still comfortable in your hand and doesn’t feel sharp.

Combined with a contrasting color camera module, the OPPO A77s design looks classic and charming. Will always attract attention around him. Consumers also need not fear the durability of this smartphone.

Apart from black, OPPO A77s also has another very attractive color, namely orange. The Sunset Orange color on the back design of OPPO A77s symbolizes luxury in an attractive color combination and wrapped in a leather texture.

The unique appearance of the Fiberglass Leather Design on the OPPO A77s device presents a soft orange appearance, high-quality leather texture. Moreover, coupled with a flat frame, it gives an elegant, cool, and premium impression on the A77s device.

Fiberglass Leather Design itself is a technique for making smartphone back cases made of glass fiber. With a special technique, this fiber presents several layers of back cover including a leather texture which not only gives a unique impression but is also not slippery when holding the A77s device.

Not only does it look beautiful to the eye, the exterior design of the OPPO A77s also feels comfortable to the touch and fits snugly in the hand, even when used for a long time. The flat edges of the frame are designed to provide optimal comfort and come with the perfect tilt angle, avoiding a sharp feel when the A77s is held without the case.

In addition to the two cameras with a fairly large circle, there is also an elongated LED flash. This LED Flash light can also function as a flashlight. On the left side there is a volume button next to the sim card slot, while the on/off button is opposite. At the bottom there are three speaker holes lined up, along with a USB-C port and a hole for the earphone cable.

    Screen

Armed with a 6.5-inch screen, the front of OPPO A77s is still loyal to the waterdrop bangs. With circles like water droplets, the display screen is still comfortable to look at. It’s not cropped at the top so the content is still perfectly visible.

Unfortunately, the screen is still supported by IPS LCD and HD + resolution (2412 x 1080 pixels), although the screen is still clear and bright when displaying content. Starting from displaying photos or videos, as well as playing games, the movement of the screen is still smooth. Maybe this is thanks to the 90 Hz refresh rate that is carried. Now, when the high refresh rate starts to drain the smartphone’s power, it can also be changed to a lower refresh rate, namely 60Hz. Use Auto Switch Refresh Rate for this.

    Camera

n total, there are three OPPO A77s camera sensors, one at the front and two at the back. The main sensor itself is high-resolution, reaching 50MP with a fairly large aperture of f/1.8 and a sensor size of 1/2.76 inches. This sensor is accompanied by a 2MP bokeh sensor, whose job is to produce a more optimal and accurate portrait effect in various conditions.

While on the front, there is an 8MP f/2.0 sensor which has a sensor size of 1/4 inch. Interestingly, the OPPO A77s camera on the front supports the Selfie HDR feature. So that users can freely take self-portraits even though they are backlit, the face will still look bright. But what’s even more interesting, is the superior features of the main camera.

There are still other features that are passed down from the Reno series cameras to the OPPO A77s camera, namely the Bokeh Flare Portrait. In one shot, the object’s brightness will be adjusted and it will automatically blur the background, increasing the bokeh light points. The resulting effect replicates the image captured by a professional camera with a large sensor, making portrait photos more attractive.

The OPPO A77s camera has an Auto HDR feature so that it can make shots brighter and clearer. There is also an increase in AI-based photo results with the name AI Scene Enhancement which can be activated to produce photos according to the character of objects, be it buildings, food, or landscapes. For a larger camera resolution, you can click on the 50MP icon.

Camera features that can be used are not only photos and videos but also night mode, portrait, Pro features, Extra HD, Panorama, Slow motion and time lapse. The resulting video can also have a resolution of 720p to 1080p.

    Performance

OPPO A77s is supported by a Qualcomm-made runway, namely Snapdragon 680 Octa-core 2.4 GHz. This chipset is enough to accommodate the performance needs of its users every day. For example, only for multitasking, scrolling social media, browsing, and playing light games.

When tested using AnTuTu, the score obtained by A77s was 276,541. Meanwhile, when tested using Geekbench 5.4.4, the score reached 380 for single-core and 1,638 for multi-core

OPPO A77s already uses ColorOS 12.1 which is based on Android 12. What’s interesting about this OS is the interface which is simple and easy on the eyes, including when switching from one application to another. In this OS there are features that are very functional and useful. Starting from split screen, App Clone, Dark Mode, Screenshot using 3 fingers, and others.

What’s interesting is the RAM Plus option, where users can add RAM memory to OPPO A77s. These additions can be made directly from the Settings menu. The method:

    1. Open the Settings menu

    2. Go to About Device

    3. Scroll down and find the RAM option

    4. Touch RAM, then activate the RAM Expansion toggle

    5. Slide the black dot inside the ‘Expand By’ line.

Users can choose between 4GB, 6GB or up to 8GB. The greater the RAM support, the smoother the performance of the smartphone is believed to be. In fact, this OPPO A77s has RAM with a total capacity of 16 GB which is a combination of 8 GB Main RAM and 8 GB Virtual RAM.

    Battery

OPPO A77s battery capacity is still relatively large, namely 5,000 mAh. Combined with a power-saving chipset from Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 680 octa-core 6nm, which is claimed to have low power consumption. Carrying over from the previous generation, the OPPO A77s battery still carries superior fast charging technology which was originally only available for the flagship series. Yes, especially if it’s not 33W SuperVOOC. Besides being fast, it also has a more efficient charging architecture to minimize wasted energy.

That is, with the same watts, the process can be faster. One other factor is the design of the OPPO A77s battery which consists of two separate cores. So that when the process is charging, it can go directly to the two parts simultaneously. As a result, it only takes less than 30 minutes to reach 50% of the depleted state.

Meanwhile, to reach 100%, it takes around 75 minutes. That way, users can immediately continue their tasks or activities. Even when charging is used, there is no problem, thanks to a layered security system that keeps the body temperature of the device from getting hot in the process. So it’s still safe even when used while playing games, without a significant decrease in speed.

Don’t forget, when the battery is dying, activate Extreme Battery Saver. This feature will disable all applications that consume quite a lot of power, change the wallpaper to black, and give you access to a number of main applications, aliases that are important. Through this mode, you can still communicate with friends via WhatsApp, even though the battery remains only 5%.

    Conclusion

With the latest technology embedded in it, this smartphone is able to support every aspect of our lives from entertainment, work, to socializing. On the exterior, the OPPO A77s leather design provides an impressive smooth appearance, smooth to the touch, while appearing slimmer and more durable.

Even though it is in the A series, which includes the entry level to midrange class, this cellphone is equipped with a large enough memory in its class. Comes with a configuration of 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, RAM Expansion technology on the OPPO A77s is able to support up to 5GB of Virtual RAM and later even reaches 8GB when there is a software update. Game lovers will be spoiled with the Multi-Cooling System feature on the OPPO A77s. This new cooling technology can keep the temperature stable when doing heavy work such as running games or applications for a long time.

Likewise with the camera sector, adopting Reno which has a Bokeh Flare Portrait Produces Pro Class Bokeh Photos. This makes OPPO A77s very competitive in its class. Serie A also went up in class.
