Manufacturer Rode launched an audio splitter called Rode AI-Micro. This device can be the easiest solution to use two microphones via 3.5mm input when creating content.

RODE AI-Micro Features

The AI-Micro Rode comes with very small dimensions. So, it is very easy to carry anywhere. In Rode AI-Micro users can find two 3.5mm microphone input ports and one 3.5mm audio jack. Meanwhile, the output port relies on USB-C.

One advantage of Rode AI-Micro is its connectivity support. In the sales package, Rode directly provides three cable options, namely USB-C to USB-A, USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to Lightning port. This means, Rode AI-Micro can be used on almost all devices from PCs, laptops, smartphones to tablets. According to Rode, AI-Micro is compatible with all devices with Windows, Mac, Android and iOS operating systems.

To use it is also very easy. Rode AI-Micro carries the plug-and-play concept . So, once plugged into the device, it can be used immediately. Users only need to plug in a microphone via the available 3.5mm microphone port. To monitor audio recordings in real time, the 3.5mm audio jack port it carries can also be directly attached to headphones.

The Rode AI-Micro also supports the use of the Rode app. Some of the applications it supports include Rode Connect, Rode Central and Rode Reporter. Rode Connect is an application for creating podcasts and streaming available on Windows and Mac platforms. Rode Central is a control center application available for PCs and smartphones. Meanwhile, Rode Reporter is an application that is presented to make it easier to record audio via a cellphone or tablet.

Price of Rod AI-Micro

The AI-Micro Rode is now available on the Australian market. There is no further information when it will be available globally. For the price of Rode AI-Micro US $70.
