Exactly a year after the appearance of the Galaxy Buds2, Samsung has now launched the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Unlike the standard version, the Pro version comes with a more compact design, updated active noise cancellation features and supports 24-bit Hi-Fi high-resolution audio.

Features of Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro comes with a design that is 15% smaller than the previous Galaxy Buds2 . This makes it more comfortable to use for a long time. The design is also waterproof with an IPX7 rating. Better than Galaxy Buds2 which is IPX2 only.

To produce sound the Galaxy Buds2 Pro still uses the same 10mm driver as the Galaxy Buds2. The sound tuning is also still entrusted to the audio experts from AKG. However, the ears of audiophiles will now be more pampered with 24-bit Hi-Res Audio support.

For a more immersive audio experience, Samsung brings 360-degree audio support. The Galaxy Buds2 Pro’s 360 Audio feature is also supported by the Dolby Head Tracking feature to deliver a cinematic audio experience.

In addition, Samsung also updated its active noise canceling feature. The Galaxy Buds2 Pro’s active noise canceling feature is smarter and can block out ambient noise better. The noise protection feature is supported by the Voice Detect feature.

This feature will automatically switch the Galaxy Buds2 Pro to Ambient mode while you are talking. The volume is also automatically lowered. So, you can talk without having to remove the Galaxy Buds2 Pro from your ear.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro is powered by a 61 mAh battery. This battery can be used for up to five hours with an active noise canceling feature. If you don’t use the active noise canceling feature, the use time can be up to 8 hours. With the addition of the protective case, the total usage time is up to 29 hours. This protective case also supports the Qi standard wireless charging feature.

Price of Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro

The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro is available in three color options. Among them Graphite, white and Bora Purlpe. The price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is USD $190. If interested, Samsung Indonesia has opened pre-orders for the Galaxy Buds2 Pro from August 10 to September 1 2022.
