CES 2022 is the debut of the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 monitor. This monitor is the successor to the Odyssey Neo G9 which Samsung launched last year.

Features of Samsung Odyssey Neo G8

In the design sector, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 still inherits the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 design. It looks futuristic with a white back body. Samsung also added a lighting system on the back of this screen panel. With the support of the CoreSync Lighting feature, the lighting system can produce light output by detecting the colors that appear on the screen.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 comes with a curved screen panel measuring 32 inches. The curvature of the panel is 1000R. According to Samsung, the Odyssey Neo G8 is the first 4K curved monitor with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a Grey-to-Grey (GtG) response time of 1 millisecond. So, very reliable for gaming. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync features are also supported for a more optimal gaming experience.

The Odyssey Neo G8 will also become the new standard for gaming monitors with its Quantum Mini LED panel technology. Quantum Mini LED technology allows the screen to be able to present a more precise level of brightness and color in every pixel. As a result, the screen brightness level can be higher when compared to screens with QLED technology. Supported by the Quatum HDR 2000 feature, the Odyssey Neo G8 supports screen brightness levels of up to 2000 nits.

Price of Samsung Odyssey Neo G8

Unfortunately, although it has been announced that Samsung has not divulged further the price and when the availability of the Odyssey Neo G8 will be on the market.
