Apart from announcing the presence of the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 monitor , at CES 2023 Samsung still has another new gaming monitor, namely the Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC). As the name implies, this device uses an OLED panel and is smaller in size than the Neo G9, which is 49 inches.
Features of the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC)
The Odyssey OLED G9 is a 1800R curved screen gaming monitor that offers a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels. More or less the same as putting two 1440p monitors side by side. The refresh rate is also high, 240Hz, and carries an aspect ratio of 32:9.
This monitor relies on quantum dot technology to increase color saturation. The OLED panel illuminates each pixel separately and is independent of the backlight, enabling a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 1,000,000:1.
For smoother gameplay, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 has a response time of 0.1ms. Combined with a refresh rate of 240Hz, gamers are promised to enjoy a more optimal gaming experience. Unlike the Neo G9, the OLED G9 doesn’t yet have DP 2.1 technology

No less interesting, the Odyssey OLED G9 is supported by various applications such as Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube which can be accessed via the Smart Hub. That way, this monitor is also suitable for enjoying your favorite movies or series without having to be connected to a PC.
Price and availability
There has been no leak when the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC) will cost. Let’s just wait for the update information from Samsung.
