Features of Samsung ViewFinity S8
The Samsung ViewFinity S8 is available in two sizes. S27B800PXE with 27 inch IPS panel size and S32B800PXE with 32 inch IPS panel. The two monitors differ only in panel size and brightness. The features and specifications are the same.
Both offer a 4K 3840 x 2160 pixel panel resolution. So, we can be sure that the visuals presented on the screen look very sharp. The response time of the panel is about 5 milliseconds with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
For the maximum brightness level, the S27B800PXE is up to 400 nits and has received the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Meanwhile, the S32B800PXE has the VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification with a maximum brightness level of up to 600 nits.
The color accuracy of both is also topnotch. According to Samsung, both have supported DCI-P3 color coverage of up to 98%. The Samsung ViewFinity S8 can produce up to 1 billion colors and the color accuracy has been validated by Pantone.
In the connectivity sector, both bring DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and a USB 3.0 Type-A port. Not only that, Samsung has also added an Ethernet port and a USB Type-C with support for Power Delivery up to 90 W.

The Samsung ViewFinity S8 is scheduled to be released to the global market at the end of June 2022. In its home country, South Korea, the Samsung ViewFinity S8 is priced starting at US$635 for the 32-inch model and US$560 for the 27-inch model.
