After launching the Aonic 215 Gen 2 , Shure, again adds to its collection of wireless earbuds. The newest product is Aonic Free. These wireless earbuds are Shure’s first wireless earbuds not equipped with earloop.
Features of Shure Aonic Free
The design is also different. Aonic Free comes with the standard design of wireless earbuds in general. This design is nothing special. However, the design is still splash and sweat resistant. So, it can be relied on for sports friends.
Another feature absent from Aonic Free is active noise cancellation. Instead, Shure features Sound Isolating technology adopted from Shure’s professional-grade IEM.

According to Shure, this passive noise cancellation system only relies on a design that goes deeper into the ear canal and the use of ear tips with foam material. Not silicone rubber like ear tips in general. With this combination, besides being able to be installed very perfectly in the ear, outside noise can be blocked up to about 37 dB without distortion.
Shure also features an Environmental mode. This mode can allow users to listen to noise from outside. In addition, these wireless earbuds are supported by the ShurePlus Play app. The application can be a media player for playing music, complete with EQ options and various presets to adjust the sound output according to the user’s taste.

For battery life, Shure Aonic Free can be used for up to about 7 hours for a single recharge. With the help of the protective case, users can get a total usage time of up to around 21 hours. It also supports fast recharge feature. Charging the battery for 15 minutes users can get a usage time of up to one hour.
