Samsung announced a software update for its TWS flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro . Through this enhancement, users can enjoy the 360 Audio Recording feature which is useful when creating video content. Like what?

Features 360 Audio Recording Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro

In a press release, Samsung claims the new 360 Audio Recording feature allows users to capture sound on video exactly as they hear it. Simply pairing the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro with a Galaxy smartphone, anyone can film like a pro and capture realistic high-quality audio on video anytime, anywhere with ease without the need for bulky professional equipment.

360 Audio Recording will record sound in 360 degrees using the microphone in the earbuds. As a result, when the video is played back, the recorded sound will be more lively and immersive as if you were listening directly to the location where the video was recorded.

According to Samsung, this feature leverages LE Audio to deliver better audio quality as well as improvements to latency and battery life. LE Audio also comes with an increased spectrum of audio experience for more complex and richer sound when shared with others.

LE Audio presents binaural recording on the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro which utilizes the left and right microphones together. When pairing the Galaxy Buds2 Pro with the Galaxy Z Flip4 5G or Z Fold4 5G, users will be immersed in every moment thanks to high-quality stereo audio and video.

Galaxy Watch Series Camera Controller Features

Apart from the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Samsung has also released a software update for the Galaxy Watch Series which brings a feature called Camera Controller. Its function is simple but very practical, that is, it allows the user to control the camera on the smartphone simply from the watch. You can even remotely control the smartphone camera zoom with one touch on the watchface or a spin on the rotating bezel.

The new 360 Audio Recording feature will be released gradually on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Z Fold4 5G via a software update starting January 13 2023. Meanwhile the Camera Controller feature will be available on Galaxy Watch5 , Watch5 Pro, Watch4 and Watch4 Classic starting February 2023 coming.
