Sony’s line of TVs for 2022 is getting more and more attention. Together with Samsung, Sony announced the Bravia XR A95K which is the world’s first TV with QD-OLED (Quantum Dot Organic Light Emitting Diode) panel technology.
Features of Sony Bravia XR A95K
This QD-OLED panel is manufactured by Samsung. QD-OLED is a new panel technology that combines the advantages of Quantum Dot and OLED technologies. Quantum Dot allows for increased screen brightness and more mature color reproduction at higher brightness levels. Meanwhile, OLED excels in perfect deep blacks and better contrast.

By combining the two technologies, QD-OLED clearly outperforms the conventional OLED panel technology that has been produced by the LG manufacturer. According to Sony, QD-OLED is capable of providing a 200% increase in color brightness compared to OLED panels. QD-OLED panels are also more energy efficient, and offer better viewing angles.

The Sony Bravia XR A95K will be available in two sizes, 55 inches and 65 inches. This TV is also supported by the Google TV operating system, and brings a series of exclusive features from Sony. For example, the XR OLED Contras Pro, XR Triluminos Max and Acoustic Surface Audio Plus.
Connectivity also supports HDMI 2.1. So, it could be the perfect Playstation 5 partner. Gamers can enjoy a series of advantages of the PS5 console on this TV such as supporting output at 4K 120 Hz resolution, auto HDR Tone mapping and automatic low latency mode.
Sony Bravia XR A95K price
