On Friday 16 June 2023, Sony introduced several of their newest Home Entertainment devices . Some of the lines introduced at the Pondok Indah Intercontinental Hotel are series refreshes . However, there are 3 completely new products introduced at the launch this time. The three are the Bravia XR X95L Mini LED TV, SRS-XV800 Wireless Speaker , and HT-S2000 Soundbar.
The X95L uses the Bravia XR processor which is claimed to be capable of displaying sharp images and excellent contrast levels. In addition, this processor also allows better backlight control for increased local dimming zone , increased brightness, and decreased blooming . Blurred images can also be increased sharpness by using this processor.
This TV with Mini LED also presents Acoustic Multi-Audio + using a tweeter frame to increase the sound to match the image on the screen. There is also the XR Backlight Master Drive technology feature, which enhances images by producing deep blacks. Finally, there is also the Triluminos Pro technology which functions to adjust the contrast to make it more accurate.
This TV is also suitable for Playstation 5 users because it has several gaming features . These include Auto HDR Tone Mapping , Auto Genre Picture Mode, Variable Refresh Rate , Black equalizer , and displays a crosshair in the middle of the screen. This is indeed commonly found on gaming monitors, but Sony put it on its newest TV.
The second device is the Soundbar HT-S2000 which is capable of producing cinematic surround sound with the Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround . With a newly developed mixer, this soundbar provides a three-dimensional audio experience that surrounds the user while watching streaming video, listening to music services, or playing stereo sound. Equipped with a Center Speaker for clear dialogue and dual subwoofers for deep bass, this soundbar is also compatible with the Home Entertainment Connect app for easy setup, troubleshooting, and complete control via the user’s smartphone.
Additionally, this soundbar can be upgraded with an optional wireless subwoofer (SA-SW3) for a more powerful bass experience. If users want rear sound sensation, they can add Sony’s optional wireless rear speakers (SA-RS3S). When used with a Bravia XR TV, soundbar sound settings automatically appear in the Bravia Quick Settings menu, making it easier for users to control them.
Lastly is the SRS-XV800 Wireless Speaker which is the latest wireless speaker specifically designed to provide loud and clear sound when hosting a party. This speaker is equipped with Omni-directional Party Sound technology that can spread sound to every corner of the room. With five tweeters that deliver clear sound from the front and rear, and supported by thumping bass thanks to the Dual X-Balanced Speaker Units, the SRS-XV800 is able to provide good sound.
The SRS-XV800 Wireless Speaker has a built-in battery that lasts up to 25 hours of music playback. This speaker also has a fast charging feature that can be used for 3 hours with just 10 minutes of charging.
Sony Bravia X95L TV is sold at USD$2.533. The HT-S2000 Soundbar and SRS-XV800 Wireless Speaker will be available in July 2023 with prices for the HT-S2000 Soundbar starting from USD $833 , and the SRS-XV800 Wireless Speaker starting from USD $626.
