SteelSeries announced the Apex Pro Mini and Apex Pro Mini Wireless gaming keyboards. These two keyboards are compact versions of the SteelSeries Apex keyboard that has become a gamer’s favourite.

SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini and Apex Pro Mini Wireless Features

The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini and Apex Pro Mini Wireless include keyboards with a 60% form factor. That is, this gaming keyboard is very space-saving on the table.

In addition to shrinking the dimensions SteelSeries also updated the switches on this keyboard. According to SteelSeries, the OmniPoint 2.0 switches it brings have now been upgraded.

The response speed of each button is claimed to be only about 0.54 milliseconds. 11 times faster than classic mechanical keyboard switches. The actuation speed is also 10 times faster.

To suit the needs of gamers, each button can be adjusted to the depth of the press between 0.2 mm and 3.8mm. Very useful to support the Dual Action feature it brings. Through this feature one keyboard button can be set to run two different commands.

As a gaming keyboard, the design is also tough. Each button carries a double shot PBT design that can withstand 100 million times of pressure. The difference between the SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini and the Apex Pro Mini Wireless is in connectivity. The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini uses USB-C and the Apex Pro Mini Wireless relies on Quantum 2.0 wireless features and Bluetooth.

SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini and Apex Pro Mini Wireless Price

The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini and Apex Pro Mini Wireless are now available on the SteelSeries website. The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini costs US$179.99 and the Apex Pro Mini Wireless US$279.99.
