A brand known for its line of gaming peripherals, SteelSeries, recently announced the presence of a controller that is compatible with a range of Apple devices, including the iPhone. One excellent feature of this product called Nimbus + comes from the battery sector.

SteelSeries Nimbus + specifications

As the name implies, SteelSeries Nimbus + is the successor series of the previous generation controller, Nimbus. Although at first glance there are not many significant changes it offers, but the main attraction of the Nimbus + is the battery life which reaches 50 hours, aka 10 hours longer than its predecessor.

Apart from the battery, SteelSeries Nimbus + has a number of other interesting features. For example, clickable joysticks and Hall effect triggers are claimed to be very responsive. The buttons can also be customized for their respective functions to suit the convenience of gamers.

“Nimbus + is the ideal device for playing games on the App Store and Apple Arcade which already supports controllers, such as Sneaky Sasquatch, Butter Royale, and Crossy Road Castle,” said Craig Olson, President of Worldwide Mobile at SteelSeries.

Of course, apart from being able to connect to an iPhone, SteelSeries Nimbus + can also be used to play games on other Apple devices such as the Apple TV, Mac, iPad, and even the iPod Touch. Not surprisingly, SteelSeries Nimbus + already has MFi certification, which is Apple’s standard for third-party products to be perfectly connected wirelessly.

SteelSeries Nimbus + is currently on sale via the official Apple Store website for US $ 70. There is only one color available, which is black.
