The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was officially introduced as the most advanced model in the Galaxy S23 Series 5G lineup. Compared to its two siblings, this device offers a more significant upgrade in the camera sector, because it adopts a 200 MP sensor.
Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The camera sector is indeed the main offering of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. In fact, in a press release, Samsung said that this cellphone camera can capture every moment with a high level of precision, with an increased Nightography feature to optimize photo and video results in various circumstances.
The main camera relies on the Samsung ISOCELL HP2 200 MP Adaptive Pixel sensor, which is able to combine 16 pixels into one to produce 12 MP photos with an individual pixel size of 2.4 microns. In addition, this camera can also combine 4 pixels into one to produce 50 MP photos.
The Expert RAW application can now be accessed directly from the default camera application. That way, users can more easily choose to shoot in RAW format. For your information, the same capability is also available on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+.

Users can also experiment with photo art using the Multiple Exposure feature or capture a sky full of stars with the Astrophoto feature. When low-light or in other situations that usually make the image blurry, the video will remain stable with the Doubled Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) in all directions on the Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G.

In addition to the 200 MP f1.7 main camera, the Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G also has a 12 MP f2.2 ultra wide camera 120 degrees, a 10 MP telephoto camera 3x optical zoom, a 10 MP telephoto camera 10x optical zoom, and a 12 MP front camera. Yes, very tempting configuration!
The performance sector relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset which is armed with a Cortex-X3 CPU with speeds of up to 3.36GHz, higher than the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the market. The GPU is also faster, Adreno 740 with a speed of 719MHz.

The screen remains special. Dynamic AMOLED 2x with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels, measuring 6.8 inches, refresh rate 1-120Hz, and a maximum brightness level of up to 1750 nits. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection is also present here, both on the front and back of the cellphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G carries a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging which can recharge up to 65 percent in 30 minutes. S Pen support is of course back to being the main attraction, although there is little information on whether there has been an increase compared to the previous generation.
