The gaming segment is currently not devoid of enthusiasts. Seeing this opportunity, HP introduced a new gaming sub-brand, namely Victus by HP 16. According to HP, Victus was prepared for gamers who are eyeing high-performance gaming laptops at a more pocket-friendly price.

Victus by HP 16 specifications

Carrying the OMEN DNA which is HP’s premium gaming laptop, Victus by HP 16 will target the middle class gamer segment. That way Victus by HP 16 will clearly be above the Pavilion Gaming line.

This gaming laptop comes with a 16-inch screen panel. The screen is available with an IPS panel option with Full HD or QHD resolution with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The screen panel also supports 100% sRGB color coverage and a maximum brightness level of 300 nits.

The specifications for the Victus by HP 16 are clearly its main attraction. This laptop will be available with a choice of Intel Core 11th Gen H Series and AMD Ryzen 5000-series processors. Unlike OMEN, the graphics sector is also more complete. Gamers can choose a graphics card from the Nvidia or AMD manufacturer. Options are available from the Nvidia GeForce MX350 4GB for the cheapest, NVIDIA RTX 3060 6GB and AMD Radeon RX5500M. That way, gamers can choose the specifications according to their respective budgets.

For other features, this laptop has brought a backlit keyboard, 5-way airflow cooling system with a four-pipe cooling design, OMEN Gaming Hub to make it easier for gamers to access laptop settings and audio systems from the Bang & Olufsen manufacturer.

Price for Victus by HP 16

This gaming laptop will be available in June 2021 with a choice of colors Mica Silver, Performance Blue, and Ceramic White. Prices for the Victus by HP 16 start at US $799.99 for the AMD model and US $ 849.99 for the Intel model.
