ViewSonic recently launched its newest Lamp Free projector in Indonesia. Called the ViewSonic LS500WHE, the device relies on LEDs to project images and is claimed to be more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. Like what?
ViewSonic LS500WHE Features
In a press release received by Alomaki , Thursday (30/6), ViewSonic explained that the LS500WHE is supported by an LED Driver and an advanced optical engine, enabling the brightness level to reach 3,000 ANIS Lumens consistently. This projector is suitable for use in bright or dark room conditions. In addition, the color coverage reaches 125 percent Rec.709.
Interestingly, the LS500WHE is touted as a safe and environmentally friendly solution, with 50 percent lower power consumption than traditional projectors that still use lamps. The service life can be up to 30,000 hours and does not need continuous maintenance. And because LED light sources are mercury-free, they can reduce exposure to toxic chemical waste that is harmful to the environment and humans.
“LED technology has now reached the stage of becoming the ideal audiovisual solution for all consumer activities. ViewSonic’s mission is to provide convenience for home users, professionals and companies,” said Eko Handoko, Country Manager of ViewSonic Indonesia.
The LS500WHE comes with a 0.94 short-throw lens, which means it’s perfect for tight spaces. This device is capable of projecting a 100-inch screen from just 1.06 meters away. In addition, the H/V keystone function and 4-angle adjustment allow for side projection settings, eliminating the need for centering.
The LS500WHE series also offers comprehensive LAN control features for convenient setup, allowing IT admins to easily and centrally control over a local network. Not only that, this projector can also be turned on or off instantly without a long waiting time.
