The X90 series, which is a high-end cellphone from Vivo, is rumored to be launching globally in January 2023. Previously, this cellphone was only released exclusively in China in November 2022.

Launch GSM Arena, Monday (12/19/2022), this news was confirmed from a tweet on Twitter revealing the international debut date of the Vivo X90 series on January 31, 2023. The Vivo X90 series at the time of its initial launch was known to come in three options, namely X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+.

Of the three, you could say Vivo X90 Pro+ is the most interesting. This is because the cellphone is powered by the latest chipset from Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Furthermore, other specifications that are no less superior are the 50MP main camera with a one-inch sensor from Sony IMX989. Its performance is strengthened by other camera units in the form of a 48MP ultrawide lens, 50MP telephoto and 64MP periscope.

Vivo X90 Series specifications

No less sophisticated for the front camera for both selfies and making video calls, X90 Pro+ users will have a large camera, which is 32 MP. In terms of screen, the X90 Pro+ has a truly premium physical appearance.

Measuring 6.7 inches with an AMOLED screen panel, the screen takes a curved shape accompanied by a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone runs OriginOS Ocean based on Android 13 and comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

In terms of power, this phone is fairly rugged because it has a 4,700 mAh battery that supports fast charging via 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Even so, it is not yet known whether the specifications of cellphones in China and globally will be the same or not.

In its domestic market in China, the Vivo X90 comes with prices starting at CNY 3,699 for the 8/128GB variant, while the 12/512GB version costs CNY 4,999. The Vivo X90 Pro is available in an entry-level 8/256 GB version starting at CNY 4,999 while the 12/512GB version sells for CNY 5,999.
