WhatsApp has a new feature called ‘Message Yourself’. As the name implies, this feature allows users to send messages or chat to their own numbers. What for?
Message Yourself function
The Message Yourself feature is intended to make it easier to send notes, reminders or reminders, save important links, or create shopping lists. The way to use it is the same as sending messages to other people. The difference is, the selected contact is yourself.
In addition to text messages, of course users can send pictures or voice notes on Message Yourself. Later users can also pin Message Yourself at the very top, so you don’t have to scroll through all the chats with other contacts when you want to find it.

As additional information, the Message Yourself feature will be available for all WhatsApp users on both the Android and iOS platforms. This feature has begun to be rolled out gradually. So if you haven’t got it yet, just wait in the next few days.
Similar features in other apps
For those who don’t know, features like Message Yourself on WhatsApp are actually not new in the world of instant messaging applications. Rival platform Telegram has had a similar feature for a long time called Saved Messages. Another application, Signal, also has the same feature.
