In its home country, China, Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 7. This latest cheap fitness bracelet brings updates in the screen sector and more capable features.
Features of Xiaomi Mi Band 7
The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 still looks similar to the Mi Smart Band 6 . Both still carry AMOLED screen panels that are very brilliant in various lighting conditions. The difference is, the Mi Band 7 AMOLED screen is now more pleasing to the eye.
The Mi Band 7 AMOLED screen is larger with a size of 1.62 inches with a resolution of 192 x 490. The screen is also brighter with a brightness level of up to 500 nits. Meanwhile, the AMOLED screen of the Mi Smart Band 6 measures 1.56 inches with a resolution of 152 x 486 pixels. The brightness level is only up to 450 nits.
The update then propagates to the feature. As a fitness bracelet, the Mi Band 7 is now supported by an optical heart rate monitoring sensor. This fitness bracelet also offers a SpO2 or blood oxygen monitoring feature. The difference is, the SpO2 monitoring feature on the Mi Band 7 can now work continuously.
The Mi Band 7 sports mode is also getting more complete. There are about 120 sport modes available. Four times more than the Mi Band 6 which only has 30 sport modes.
In the battery sector, the Mi Band 7 is powered by a battery with a capacity of 180 mAh. Bigger than Mi Band 6 which is only 125 mAh. With a larger battery capacity, the Mi Band 7 can be used for up to about 15 days for a single recharge. In the connectivity sector, the Mi Band 7 carries a Bluetooth 5.2 connection, replacing Bluetooth 5.0 in the previous Mi Band 6.

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is sold at a price of US$37. An NFC version is also available at a slightly more expensive selling price of around US$45.
