Following the success of the Mi TV Stick, Xiaomi has announced the arrival of the Mi TV Stick 4K. Still adopting the same design, this device brings quite a lot of updates compared to the previous generation.

Features of Xiaomi Mi TV Stick 4K

Supports 4K resolution The first update of Mi TV Stick 4K is in the specifications. Mi TV Stick 4K now comes with a Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 chipset, Mali-G31 MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM. The amount of RAM it carries is larger than the Mi TV Stick 4K which is only 1GB. Meanwhile, for storage space is available internal memory with a capacity of 8GB. The function is still the same. This device can turn an ordinary TV into a smart TV or Smart TV.

Xiaomi Mi TV Stick 4K is getting more and more interesting with support for Dolby Atmos and DTRS HD Audio. This technology is useful for maximizing audio output when enjoying multimedia content. In the video sector, the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick 4K supports output up to 4K 60fps and is compatible with HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG Dolby Vision.

The update then propagates to the operating system. Replacing the Android TV 9.0 operating system on the Mi TV Stick, the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick 4K now runs the Android TV operating system based on Android 11. In the connectivity sector there is support for WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and a MicroUSB port.

The sales package includes the Mi TV Stick 4K with a Bluetooth remote. This remote can support a virtual assistant to make it easier to control and search with voice commands. The sales package also includes one HDMI extender cable.

Xiaomi Mi TV Stick 4K Price

Although it has appeared on the Xiaomi website , there is no further information on how much the Mi TV Stick 4K will cost on the market. Our prediction is that the price could be around US$50 or around 700 thousand Rupiah. For comparison, the Mi TV Stick currently costs around USD $35.
