Xiaomi announced Mijia Smart Glasses. These smart glasses adopt the style of Google Glasses, are equipped with two camera modules and are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Glasses come with a Micro OLED display from the manufacturer Sony. The brightness level is 3000 nits and has been certified by TUV Rheinland. So, it is very safe for the eyes. On the right side of the user can find a dual camera module.
The main camera comes with a 50 megapixel sensor. The most interesting of the two cameras. The second camera of Xiaomi Mijia Smart Glasses is a periscope camera with an 8 megapixel sensor and a lens capable of optical zoom up to 5x and 15x hybrid zoom. The camera module is also supported by the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) stabilizer feature. That way the image can be ensured to remain stable and minimal blur.

Adopting Google Glasses style, Xiaomi Mijia Smart Glasses offer AR (Augmented Reality) capabilities. Among them are the ability to translate text in real time and are supported by the XiaoAI virtual assistant from Xiaomi.
For energy intake, the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Glasses carry a battery with a capacity of 1,020 mAh. The battery supports 10W wireless charging. Fast recharge is also supported. In just 30 minutes the battery can be charged up to 80%.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Glasses can now be pre-ordered in China for around US$400. There is no further information when these smart glasses will be available globally.
